6. Be socially aware, use the “please” and “thank you” words, they're free
7. Take considered risks - push yourself
8. Try to interpret “body language”
9. Know when to challenge & when not to, “listen” to the views of others and contribute to discussions.
10. Commit to Work Experience, when offered,

- 1. Recognise & acknowledge a contribution, either financial, in person or in deed
2. Be pro-active supporting the business partner and scholar with their relationship
3. Guide the business partner about the education process
4. Manage student(s) and encourage the relationship with the business partner
5. Have regular reviews with the business partner
6. Respond to communication promptly
7. Be part of the “joint team” - not just in “receive” mode
8. Be flexible in your requests and demands
9. Recognise that the business partner has operational commitments and will contribute when and where they can
10. Acknowledge that the business partner does not have an endless supply of resource
